    China’s State Council plans on implementing compulsory education reform in urban and rural areas by 2020, demonstrating China’s determination to improve its education system. According to the State Council, China’s new education plan aims to bridge the education gap between urban and rural areas and may benefit the most vulnerable children: those left-behind by parents who have migrated for work.

    CCR CSR has been working closely with ICTI-CARE, a non-profit organization dedicated to safeguarding and improving ethical and sustainability standards in the global toy and entertainment industry, to strengthen awareness of children's rights, to demonstrate the risks and impact of child labor on businesses and to ultimately support parent workers and their children.

    About 61 million children in China grow up with their grandparents or relatives, while their parents work in far away cities. To help counteract the negative effects of separation on working parents with left-behind children, CCR CSR launched a free mobile-based eLearning platform on China's most popular app, WeChat, to supplement its in-factory trainings.
